Rab remains poised for further expansion and growth. The company plans to continue to diversify and widen its product portfolio whenever opportunities arise. External markets will be explored for any potential of investing into them as well as setting up operations in suitable countries to increase competitiveness. In Malawi, Rab will continue to seek ways of supporting and empowering local farmers who are the backbone of the smallholder based produce supply chain.

Rab’s future plans and investment opportunities with joint venture partners

In order to be part of Malawi’s growth in Agriculture and agro processing industry, Rab Processors Ltd is looking at venturing into partnerships with possible investors in the following areas:

– Selling and distribution of small and medium scale agricultural equipment

-Selling and distribution of agro processing plants and machinery

-Facilitating trade and investment of large scale agriculture equipment, agro processing plants and grain silo storage facilities on behalf of overseas investors / partners

-Establishment of medium and large scale agro industries of different types in Malawi

The company is determined to become the strongest player in two key areas where it already commands significant presence; provision of basic needs and trading in basic commodities.
